What this site is
chinomatico is a reference and editorial publication about hotels, their buildings and their settings. It is published from Hobart, Tasmania. By using the site you agree to these terms.
We are not a travel agent
We are not a travel agent, tour operator, booking service or intermediary. We take no bookings, hold no availability, process no payments and pass no enquiries to hotels. Any arrangement you make with a hotel listed here is between you and that hotel.
Accuracy of information
Entries are compiled from public sources and are correct to the best of our knowledge on the check date shown at the foot of each entry. Hotels change names, operators, seasons and facilities, and seasonal properties change every year. We give no guarantee that any detail remains current, and you should confirm anything that matters directly with the hotel before travelling.
Not advice
Nothing on this site is advice to buy, book or travel, and nothing here is financial, legal or professional advice. We publish no prices, no star ratings and no reviews, and no entry should be read as a recommendation to purchase anything.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the relevant content or the cost of doing so.

Corrections
If you find an error, write to us through the contact page. Hotels may send a correction about their own entry, and we will amend it and record the change with a date in the updates log. We do not accept payment for entries, amendments or removals.
The Casino Hotels section
The Casino Hotels section lists Canadian hotels for their architecture, their rooms and their restaurants. We do not promote gambling, describe or assess gaming floors, or link to any operator. These terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania and the Commonwealth of Australia, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
